Every great wine starts with great fruit. We take a meticulous approach to hand selecting and picking our fruit to ensure that the grapes are in optimal condition before wine making process begins. Every stage of the process from picking the fruit to labelling the bottles is undertaken with the same uncompromising care and attention to detail, producing the experience in a glass that Elk Wines are known for.
Although Elk Wines is relatively young, it has received accolades from the wine community, the receipient of the 2023 Marananga Wine Show’s - Exhibitor of Show, People’s Choice and Best Grenache Trophy’s.

Eden Valley Riesling has always been my regional variety of choice, after growing up on my family property, ‘Eden Gums’. The high altitude and cool climate of the High Eden, promotes delicate flavours and preserves natural acidity, which makes it the ideal terroir for producing exceptional quality Riesling.
Delicate floral aromas of peach blossom and honeysuckle, with vibrant citrus notes of grilled lime and white nectarine. The bright, crisp natural acidity of the High Eden gives lift and minerality, while the lingering textural mouthfeel balances the wine. An austere, yet elegant Riesling handcrafted with minimal intervention.
